MS Swim Results
Coach Mumau would like to share the results from last night’s swimming and diving competition against Trenton’s Arthurs Middle School. In her words… “Today, I have the honor and pleasure of writing about one of my proudest moments in coaching middle school swimming.” The boys swim team swam amazingly well yesterday and defeated Trenton by a score of 85-68. The boys meet concluded with a come from behind victory by Andrew Severenski, Don Ho, Christian Maroon, and Gabe Detrych in the 400 free relay. The girl’s 400 free relay team of Natalie Vadasz, Audrey Pyle, Sara Laforce, and Katie Len also finished the meet with a first place and added a state qualifying time, but fell just short of defeating the Trenton girls team. However, together the two teams had a remarkable victory defeating Trenton Arthurs Middle School by a score of 157-156.
The boy’s had individual top finishes by…
Michael Britt in the 100 IM & 100 Backstroke, Gabe Detrych in the 50 & 100 Free, and Brian Pawelec in the 100 Breaststroke.

Today Coach Mumau is speechless…and those in the Woodhaven swimming world know that when Coach Mumau loses her voice, it was an incredible win. The team swims against Allen Park on Friday at the BMS pool. Come cheer on the team in their final dual meet of the year.
