Girls Soccer v Carlson

The girls varsity soccer team opened league play last night with a strong performance against visiting Carlson.  It was a great team effort and the girls gained a solid 7-1 win, giving them a nice start in the Downriver League.  Junior striker, Allison Manning, tallied for four goals in the game, adding to her two goals in

The Girls varsity soccer team opened their season with a solid 5-0 win over Monroe.  Varsity newcomer, Miranda Ratusznik, scored the Warriors first goal of the season.  Last season’s top marksman, Allison Manning grabbed a brace, while Hannah Tobiczk also had a pair.  Assists went to Nicole Losek, Allie May, Abbey Lorenz and Serena Belanger.

Cancelations

With the cold temps, snow and wet fields, we have ppd all contests until after the break.  That impacts Baseball and Softball tonight, Soccer and Softball tomorrow, and Softball Wed. Have a great spring break!

Coaches Award

Congrats to WHS teacher Sean Kelly as he was named “Coach of the Year” for the SMISL league as boys swim coach at Riverview.  He was also named “MISCA Coach of the Year” for this region last swim season!
