Girls hoops!

The Woodhaven girls basketball team traveled to Gibraltar Carlson last Friday night and were determined to play with intensity.  The Warriors busted out with energy and fire coming right at the Marauders.  Final score Woodhaven 83 Gibraltar 47. Balanced Woodhaven scoring and waves of fresh hungry Warriors again proved a deadly combination for the opponent.

Swimming and Diving updates

David Erickson made two D2 state cuts.  One at the News Herald meet in the 100 butterfly with a time of 55.38 and the other last night against Carlson-Southgate and Erie in the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.73.   Final scores of the tri-meet at WHS on Thurs 1/24 were Carlson 107.5-WHS 62.5, Carlson 113-Erie

Ford Football Frenzy Pizza Party

On Friday 2/18.  WHS won a Pizza Party from Ford Driving Skills For Life as a result of our participation in the Football Frenzy voting this fall.  Dominoes and Ford Driving Skills provided our students over 300 pizzas and a valuable message on safe driving….see the following link for the newscast. for pics of

Woodhaven Bowling Varsity Boys beats Robichaud 30-0

Sport Bowling Varsity Boys Home Score 0 Away Score 30 Game Recap The Woodhaven Boys defeated Robichaud 30-0 on Thursday. Woodhaven took all 10 points in the Bakers matches with scores of 129 and 143. In the Regular games they had all 8 of their bowlers combine to score a 1477.

The boys traveled to Carlson to take on a feisty Mauraders team. They trailed 6-12 after the first quarter. Down 20-24 at half, the tribe came out rolling, out-scoring the Mauraders 23-10 to take a 43-34 lead after three. The tribe went on to win the game 51-43 to improve to 8-4. Next is Kennedy
