Bowling results

The boys bowling team played Clarenceville and won both bakers games 167-146 and 209 – 201.  In the second game Woodhaven started with their first 5 strikes.  In the regular games Dustin Underwood shot a 160, Conner Thimmes had a 159, Matt Miller had a 221, and Michael Lucas had a 244 and a 205.

MS swim results

MS Swim Results The middle school swimming and diving team had another dramatic win defeating Lincoln Park Middle School by a score of 218-54.  Both the girls and boys teams finished one – two in every event. Alumni events

Watch here for updates and additional info for some Alumni happenings over the holidays.  The swim team will host an alumni gathering on 12/27 at 11am.  The Hockey Boosters will host their annual alumni game at the Ice box on 12/26 at 7pm!

Boys Swimming results

Woodhaven swam well at the Dundee on 12/6.  We defeated all three of the teams at Dundee’s Christmas Quad with final scores of Woodhaven 120/Ypsilanti High School 55, Woodhaven 126/Ypsilanti-Lincoln High School 49, and Woodhaven 96/Dundee High School 89.  Woodhaven was able to win 8 of the 12 events among all four teams with wins in

The Woodhaven Varsity girls basketball team is off to a 3-0 start after defeating Riverview 78-37. Head coach Doug Simons devised a plan to attack the Pirates in waves – 5 players in – 5 out every minute. The plan worked to perfection quickly overwhelming the home team with 3 pointers, steals and rebounds. The Varsity Boys Basketball team won a nail biter on Friday night 50-47 against Garden City.  The Warriors were led by Donnie Stoddard with 25 points, Donovan Williams with 11 points and Mo Witherspoon with 10.  The 1-1 Warriors head to New Boston Huron Tues to battle the chiefs at 7pm.

Wrestling recap

The Varsity Wrestling team went 3-2 this weekend at the Rochester 10 team tournament, finishing 5th overall.  Derek Hillman was 5-0 on the day, and Jared Ammons and Matt Horne went 4-1.  The “B” Team traveled to Waterford Mott and finished 0-5.  Billy Duncan went 5-0 on the day.
