9th grade boys basketball

The boys traveled to Carlson to take on a feisty Mauraders team. They trailed 6-12 after the first quarter. Down 20-24 at half, the tribe came out rolling, out-scoring the Mauraders 23-10 to take a 43-34 lead after three. The tribe went on to win the game 51-43 to improve to 8-4. Next is Kennedy

Wyandotte hosted Woodhaven Tuesday night and the Warriors prevailed 48 to 31. The game was tied after one and only two points separated the teams at half. Head coach Doug Simons and the Varsity Lady Warriors are 10-1 and coach Mike Brennan and his JV Girls are 11-0! Those are pretty good mid season records for our girls basketball teams! The Woodhaven High School boys and girls basketball programs are hosting a very special event on Saturday, January 19th at Woodhaven High School.  It’s the second annual, Warrior Games.  The varsity players from the boy’s and girl’s teams will be playing against teams from the Downriver Arc Program.  The Arc is an organization that works

The Woodhaven Lady Warriors improved to 9-1 after defeating cross town rival Trenton 74 to 39.   Woodhaven brought a 3 point attack like never before shooting 35 before half time.  Cassie Breen lead everyone with 25 points and 6 assists.
