Warrior Varsity Club Needs Your Help!!

The Steak and Comedy Dinner on April 20th at the Flat Rock Elks is rapidly approaching.  We have many tickets available and need your help to reach our goal of 300  attendees.  Ten dollars for every Twenty-five dollar ticket sold will go directly to the sport of your choice in the Woodhaven School District, boys

9th grade boys basketball

The boys traveled to Carlson to take on a feisty Mauraders team. They trailed 6-12 after the first quarter. Down 20-24 at half, the tribe came out rolling, out-scoring the Mauraders 23-10 to take a 43-34 lead after three. The tribe went on to win the game 51-43 to improve to 8-4. Next is Kennedy

9th grade Boys Basketball

The Freshman boys ran into a tough athletic Truman Cougar team. The tribe battled and gave it a run but couldn’t come away with the win losing 28-45. The boys are now 6-4 on the season

The Woodhaven High School boys and girls basketball programs are hosting a very special event on Saturday, January 19th at Woodhaven High School.  It’s the second annual, Warrior Games.  The varsity players from the boy’s and girl’s teams will be playing against teams from the Downriver Arc Program.  The Arc is an organization that works

Freshman boys basketball traveled to Huron on Tuesday and came away with a 64-31 victory. The boys started off a little slow leading 28-23 at the half. The tribe came out of the locker room fired up out-scoring the chiefs 24-5 in the 3rd quarter to take a 52-28 lead into the final 8min. The

The boys varsity basketball team won last evening against New Boston Huron 38-37. Trailing for the most part of the game the warriors found themselves down 9pts with 3 min left in regulation. Both Brandon Imperati and Donnie Stoddard made key threes near the 2:30 min mark to close the 9 pt gap. Nick Towianski

The Varsity Boys Basketball team won a nail biter on Friday night 50-47 against Garden City.  The Warriors were led by Donnie Stoddard with 25 points, Donovan Williams with 11 points and Mo Witherspoon with 10.  The 1-1 Warriors head to New Boston Huron Tues to battle the chiefs at 7pm.

Boys hoops recaps!

The seventh grade warriors improved to 4-1 on the season with a 29-27 win against Lincoln Park. Freshman Warriors traveled to Grosse Ile to take on the Devils in their season opener. The freshman came out a little slow but never gave up with tough defense leading 22-12 at the half and only giving up three points
